Coomba Park near Forster NSW. The
clients, Elaine and Rupen Honnet
required a very low maintenance
system which also operated on on its
own solar power. |

Aerobic sand filter
system under construction on the
farm of Mr. Brian Wilkes of Stroud
NSW. This system was an urgent
replacement for a failed septic tank
system. |

A final layer of sand and gravel
media is being applied to the
aerobic sand filter. The blue liner
material is designed to prevent
contamination flowing either into or
out of the filter. |

AMP asked us to upgrade failed
septic systems on five properties
located beside the environmentally
sensitive Tea Gardens River in NSW.
AMP required that these systems
produce very high quality waste
water which was then to be dispersed
to a sub surface disposal
area. |

We replaced 3 failed septic
systems servicing three separate
cottages on this rural property. The
big challenge on this project was
dealing with the very heavy clay sub
surfaces. The client also required a
low visibility installation which
could be easily obscured with
minimal landscaping. |

Markwell Plumbing have had the
pleasure of helping Thiess Pty Ltd
with wastewater management issues at
various highway construction site
offices over the years. This work in
progress photo shows part of an
installation at Karuah NSW where
wastewater had to be safely disposed
of into a native landscaped area. |
